Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of online content, a web site, or web page in a search engine’s natural or unpaid search results. SEO is essential to send optimized signals to search engines enabling them to match relevant content with search queries, thus attracting qualified visitors to the best content. SEO practices include a number of factors including keyword research, web design and architecture, on-page optimization, link building, local search strategies, tracking and analysis, planning and project management, and staying current with search engine updates.
