In the context of web analytics, A business objective is the answer to the question: “Why does your digital presence exist?”
Identifying the business objectives mandates a discussion with the senior-most leaders in your company and working with to identify components of the company’s digital strategy.
Business objectives might include, but would not be limited to, creating brand awareness, generating leads for offline conversations, selling products and provide customer service.
